Adacta

A New Approach to Research Data Management with a Focus on Traceability

Adacta is a research data management (RDM) system developed as part of the NFDI4cat project. Adacta's primary design goal is to store research data in a way that is easily understandable and traceable by creating a digital twin of a laboratory testing environment, including a time-accurate record of all components used to measure performance of chemical reaction systems such as in catalysis and chemically reacting flows. Adacta is a web-based platform, allowing you to access and manage your research data from any browser, anywhere. It can also be used as inventory of your laboratories as well as managing the experimental activities of your research unit.

Digital Twins for Test Stands
Adacta constructs digital twins of test stands using individual components, allowing for precise traceability of measured values and insights into the methods and devices used.

Component-Tree & Flow-Charts
Upload your flowchart and tag individual unit positions to access detailed information about the devices at each location.

Timeline (of Used Devices)
Understand the assembly and evolution of a test stand with Adacta's Timeline feature, which tracks the use of devices and installation of catalyst samples over time.

Metadata for Measurements
Imported measurement files are automatically linked to the corresponding sample and test equipment, simplifying data management and ensuring traceability.

Visualization of Data
Plot imported data files within Adacta and select specific measurements for a clearer view, aiding in the understanding of the measurement process.

App-wide Search
Use the search function to find all stored elements quickly. Input search terms to get comprehensive results from all associated samples, devices, and measurements.

Active development
Adacta is constantly evolving with new features and improvements to better serve your research data management needs.
