MODEGAT VIII

September 21-23, 2025 in Bad Herrenalb/ Karlsruhe, Germany

The series of the International Symposia on Modeling of Exhaust‐Gas After‐Treatment will continue!

The eighth symposium will be held at the same location in Bad Herrenalb on September 21‐23, 2025. The topics of symposium will include conventional emission control systems such as TWC, SCR, and DPF with a special focus on novel power trains and E‐fuels as well as reduction of emissions of green‐house gases and from
stationary applications including chemical and process industries. Modeling will also include digitalization, machine learning and AI in general.

The general symposium’s purpose will remain, supporting the exchange of state‐of‐the‐art and novel modeling and simulation techniques, fundamental mechanistic studies, experimental model validation as well as technical applications of modeling and simulation among researchers, scientists, and engineers from industry and
academia. The location, program and low conference fee is set up to boost open discussions and new collaborations.

Introductory plenary and keynote lectures will provide newcomers to the field with an overview of the state‐of‐the‐art. Contributed presentations and posters will provide experts with a platform to discuss current developments and most urgent open problems.

We look forward to connecting with you for the MODEGAT VIII symposium.

Sincerely,
Your MODEGAT Organization Team
